Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas Book Review

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas Book Review     Well I don't really know what to say...  At first I wasn't impressed.  It seemed just like another YA fantasy with a love triangle.... bla bla bla....It just didn't really capture my attention.  But since I had ONLY heard good things about the series, I decided to give it a fair chance...  And I'm so glad I did!   I actually ended up really enjoying it near the end.  There ARE quite a few cliches and tropes that I'm not really loving....So it doesn't get five stars mainly for originality. But, I am definitely going to read the next book, if only because I can't get enough of Chaol Westfall. :) #chaolaena XD (You can also read this review on Goodreads)

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas Book Review

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas Book Review by Cassia Ashen   (May contain minor spoilers...) Wow. I was definitely not expecting this book to be SO GOOD.  I might even go so far as to say it was better than the first! I know, I know, Your probably all like;  *gasp* "But Cassia! That has like NEVER happened to you before!"  and to that I reply; "True." Most of the time I have found that series- particularly trilogies- typically tend to go downhill fast- writing and plot-wise- the farther into the series you get.... But boy-oh-boy. Sarah J. Maas has delivered.  The HUMONGOUS plot twist at the end? Did NOT see that coming. That thing with Nehemia? Shocked me. The other plot twist concerning Archer Finn? had a tiny feeling, but still didn't see it coming. Also, I was surprised, the love triangle actually kind of worked.... Both Dorian and Chaol are pretty believable candidates and I found myself rooting for both of them ...
